Thanked: 8Interesting Things Learned About My Shaving Technique
I was shaving earlier today and when I shave sometimes I find my hands doing odd strokes on their own. I studied what kind of strokes WTG XTG and AGT, but the strokes my hands just started doing on there own were different. So I looked up what I was doing and actually found them. One was called "Scything" and the other was called "Buffing" But I read that these are advanced techniques but my hands just started doing them on there own. Anyone else have experiences like this? Doing advanced techniques after not really straight shaving for very long?

I canon say that I have had the same experience. However, barring that, I would like to think that my hands are fully controlled by me, especially when I'm holding a sharp razor blade to my face. The thought of my heads doing stuff on their own, independently, scares me. 😊

you probably just happened upon the method that gave the most control (buffing) or least resistance (scything)

Thanked: 8Most likely, the way I look at it, if it gives me a good shave and not in the hospital or (god forbid) the morgue, I'll take it! lol
