Thanked: 9In my experience - either cold (like when I go to Boston on a business trip - from Florida's "winter") OR skin intolerance to soap / cream.
Trumper's Coral Skin Food has been a revelation

Steve,
I was afraid you were going to ask that. The lotion is called Udder Cream. (Insert tastless joke of your choice here. ) It was originally formulated for use on dairy cows, but the farmers realized that it kept their hands from chapping.
Farmers = real men, so I'm OK, right? I wish--even Justin's going to be on me now, lavendar soap and all.
It just happens to be what I have on hand. I'd love to try some Trumper's Skin Food, but I haven't gotten around to buying any yet...
Hiding in shame,
Josh

Thanked: 1You mean I'm not the only pansy using lavender shaving cream and soap?? Don't worry, we'll keep Justin away from you. Remember, he's loving the lavender too, now. My grandfather used to use Bag Balm a lot (it's basically the same thing you use and it does work great). I find farmers tend to know simple solutions that work and they don't worry about who thinks what. I kind of like that, personally.
I don't want all my money spent on this hobby so I'm resisting the Trumper's. (yes I know: it will go better for me if I submit willingly).
Thanks for the recommendation.

Thanked: 9bag balm, udder cream - proven to work. people in the know are never going to make fun of you for using these. They seem too greasy though - especially for my face
More power to you if you like them for face. I can honestly say that I love Trumper's Coral SF for my face. (I hate Limes SF. I also like Trumper's Violet soap and the almond cream is good, the limes cream is not bad... On the other hand, I have liked NO product of Truefitt & Hill that I have tried so far - samples).
Try a sample of Coral - if you don't like it - fair enough. I resisted for a long time myself. Once I tried it I was hooked. It is now the only thing that I do not want to ever run out of in my cosmetics arsenal.
Cheers

Ivo,
Yeah, I agree with the greasy part. I hate greasy lotions, but on my hands I've been forced to use something that's not water-based. I'm still sort of expecting it to trigger a massive breakout on my face, but so far that hasn't happened.
I will have to try some Trumper's. What retail outlets have it available?

Thanked: 1Where can I get a sample of the Skin Food? Certainly would be willing to try it that way.

Thanked: 9lol on the cucumbers... you should visit B&B - they discuss eye creams there Too much for me (at least currently)
e-mail Trumper's for samples - they'll charge you GBP 3 and send you several creams (they are nice), 2 skin foods, and several perfumes (also some nice, esp. Spanish leather)
Cheers
