In honesty I have much more than one favorite, but if I had to pick one that would have to include sentimental reasons in addition to the mere shaving qualities of it.

The one in question is my very first Filarmonica Especial Para Barbas Duras #14.
It was mine for $405, and many thought that insane back then.
Investment wise, I reckon I'm the one who has the last laugh now

But to answer the op's question, no, not even close.
It is very far from the razor I paid the most for.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

This one would be my favourite an early Filarmonica 14 Especial 8/8 I use the razor almost every week and I can't remember the last time I honed the razor and it always delivers a super smooth shave.

    Tough choice for me.

I don't have a lot of razors but the razors I have are nice and all shave well.

The most recent is probably the one I've been using most. I got it for £7. It's a nice Joseph Rodgers wedge with a slight smile. There is no jimping, and the razor holds a fantastic edge. I have no idea why the edge is so good but it passes the HHT with my hair at over 1" from the fingertips. Most other razors need to be within the 1/2" range to pass. You can't actually feel it shave, And it only needs the very lightest of stokes to work.

    What a beauty!

This one is so esthetically pleasing, it should appeal even to non-shavers.

Without a doubt my favorite at the moment is this recent antique store find. An Emil Voos Black King. Ive searched but really can't find out too much about this maker nor have I seen another like it. I assume the scales are ivory but I'm not 100% positive. I've only been SR shaving for a few months now and until recently I was only able to shave about 70% with a SR and finished with a DE. I think I did a pretty good job of honing it as I've achieved to 3 bbs shaves with it in the past week without slicing my chin up.
