    Default Different beards different razors

I have noticed that if I wait 2-3 days between shaves I'll need to use one of my 6/8 7/8 or even the 15/16 size blades. if I shave every day then I can use the 5/8 blades easily. I have one 5/8 wade and butcher hollow ground with b notch that really doesn't like the heavier beard. Now I know that the members here will say that it's just me not the blades and they are probably right. I have noticed that the 5/8 hollow ground thin blades ( C-Mon Boker Genco) seams to get shaper easier that the 5/8 WB previously mentioned. I just wonder if anyone else has notice any differences like this.

Two separate sources of steel and two companies with different heat treatments - yes there will be a difference in the blades. It may be a minor difference or it may be a major difference.

Once you get to 9/8 and beyond, it really doesn't matter anymore.

Yes, many say the same thing however it's just the way you use it that is making the difference.
