Thanked: 0Using Japanese Style Razor
I have fallen head over heels for a Mastro Livi Japanese Style razor.
How much harder are they to use than the regular scales?
I am only just starting off.

I would say contact the folks at SRD or ask Lynn directly.

I used one today for my shave. Not to much different as far as angles IMO. The handle end is the biggest thing I have found needing time to get used to. Shave is just as good. I do find I like them better for trimming in my goatee.

I picked one up out of curiosity and as far as difficulty is is pretty much on the same level. You just have to find a comfortable way hold the razor. I ended up deciding the asymmetrical grind wasn't for me but i might look into getting a western ground version.

Didn't have a problem with my Feather Artist but this is proving to be a very different challenge
