Yeppers unfortunatly if the issue is with multiple razors the cause lies with the guy looking back from the mirror each morning
I like OCD's suggestion of going back to the basics, helps me to do that now and then, been at this for 34 years now and I still can catch myself using to much pressure sometimeshave to tell myself "Back off idiot"
Good luck on sorting it out quickly

Boy is that the truth or what. I do it also but it takes me a couple shaves to realize it

Is it possible all your edges have become rusty.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 1185If you haven't changed your prep and edges are same as always, then it's angle and/or pressure. Or your listening to disco instead of rock while your shaving.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

I read this post by Glen yesterday and it did not really sink in until in bed last night ( I do my best reasoning and thinking things through at night when I cannot sleep) So this morning I decided I was going to try to use as little pressure as possible using my normal 4 pass shave techniques. It worked better than I expected. The chin and neck areas are my hardest areas but today it was much easier. I ended up with a BBS shave with no effort. Now we shall see if I can duplicate this on my next shave. Kudos to Glen for sharing his wealth of knowledge with newbies like myself
