Like rideing a Bike
Been off the straights for 3 mos. all DE.month out of town off and on (do not travel with straights)got lazy.
Came back home today,6 days growth,nice 3 pass,forgot how superior a straight shave can be.CAUTION
Dangerous within 1 Mile

Yeah I am with you, DE's are great for travel and those mornings when you are in a hurry....but it sure is nice to pick the straight back up again after a break!!

I am glad to be retired and not traveling so much. Not sure how I would have handled not using a SR when traveling. I don't mind a DE once in a while but 3 months is a long time

Never used a de, had to use a disposable Schick one night when I was away, felt like I was using sandpaper.

As long as you come back to SR, that's important
Nothing like coming home, and have your straights and strop waiting for you.. i travel too, and is always nice to come home and have that 10 minutes of pleasant meditative shave..
