Do you already use a straight razor for shaving?

I have been using a Feather and I quite like it. I have neen curious about the non folders and how do they compare in sharpness with the feather blades

I also have a feather folder I use on occasion. Fantastic shaving razor. It makes me feel guilty sometimes , (cheating) the machined sharpened feather blades provide such a wonderful shaving experience. I've never used a real or feather designed kamisori. I'm sure other SRP members will join in and help answer your questions.

Check out out a member here, Silverloaf is his name. His custom razors are top shelf especially his nonfolders. His razors can be had for great prices on his ebay page. Here's his ebay page.

I love mine, they have gotten fairly pricey though and may not be the most sensible option for someone wanting to try a fixed blade. They shave like a dream though.
