    Red face GD 208

So I received a Gold Dollar 208 a few months ago and it started to pull after a month or so. Might have been my stropping, but regardless, I put it to the CrOx today and it shaved great! Still think it could get better, but it did give me a BBS shave today. 5 strokes on CrOx on Linen, 40 on clean linen and 80 on leather. Even if it was my stropping, my stropping has improved drastically!

Gold dollars, with time and care, can be good shavers. I tend to use crox on them a little more often than my old razors, but that's no big deal.

Glad to hear that worked out... I'll have to look into CROX.

I actually find with my gold dollars that they respond better to a touch up on crox than they do to my hones.

Congratulations on your shaving and honing progress. Now it's just a matter of time before your purchasing #14 Filly's on the Bay. Resistance is futile.
