Default Wet Shaving on imgur - A Guide to Wet Shaving Pt. 1

Saw this on imgur this morning & wondered if anyone else here browses imgur from time to time. One of the photos they used (below) made me cringe

I know I'm quite new, but that is definitely a new technique to me. Looks like a way to roll your edge on your face.

Interesting article and I believe that is a "Prop Razor" (no edge) - with that much pressure (note the point area) we would have pink lather...
And look at the lather pattern...looks like he ran in to it rather than applied it...

But anything to bring them over to the cause is good...

I've seen that image used for a few different shaving purposes. Great PHOTO... but still makes me cringe.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

not a technique. As a newbie I think it is safe to ignore the pic.

This guy is about to open big gash in his cheek with the point of the razor.

Newbie? I thought you've been around long enough to not have to call yourself that!

And yeah I hope nobody sees that picture and tries to mimic it

It almost looks like he's trying to strop the razor on the side of his cheek.
