    Default Neck Irritation

I've recently been experiencing some irritaion and razor burn towards the bottom of my neck. I've been shaving with a SE for about a year now and never really had a problem. I don't think I'm applying to much pressure, but it is a more sensitive area. Thanks in advance.

can it be that the edge is still sharp but a bit rough? - check under magnification.

Are you shaving ATG first pass there?

Basically - has anything in your routine (prep, actual shaving, tools - razor, especially if a wedge, new brush, soap, etc.) changed from the time you didn't have any issues? I'd probably try to go to the original no-issues set-up / process and gradually change one thing at a time

other than that - this is my most sensitive skin area. Sometimes soap / cream will burn just from the initial application, before the razor touches the skin. You might have developed a sensitivity to a particular shaving product in this area, or even to multiple shaving products

    Good luck

Many guys have hair which grows upward in that region. Do you shave WTG first (ie., South to North or upward) and then ATG after (ie., North to South or downward)? If you've been wet shaving I assume you are.
