    Gentlemen,

I have trimmed my modest razor collection even more — to 15 and all shave ready — and rotate them. Mine are mostly 6/8 German NOS round points, and I love them all equally. Then there are several that I don't use and sell from time to time.

I've got too many.. for me.

They are all very different. Some I love because of the story that goes with them. Other's shave perfect every time. And others just have a cool factor. Can't really explain it. Try as I might to reduce the inventory, inevitably I talk myself out of selling/trading. And when I do move a razor out, its' void gets filled in no time.

What I do know is that over the past year my preferences have narrowed. I can see myself getting the quantity down to a more reasonable number, and in doing so focusing on only a few makes, sizes and styles.

For the past few months I have laid a set of seven at the beginning of a two week period and rotated through them, using each one twice and different one of the seven each day. Each razor shaves so uniquely different that I never get REALLY intimate with any one blade. I believe I will change this in the next few weeks.. going back to one razor for a week of shaves and just rotate the brush and software.
