XTG Neck Hollow Embarrassment
If I had any sense I would not post this, but for some time when shaving some hollows on my neck XTG I would notice that there were areas where stubble was ah, stubborn. My solution was the definition of insanity and I would simply go over the same area again, sometimes multiple times, which of course would lead to irritation. Then I realized that the hair on my neck swirled around like tropical storms in two hemispheres. XTG first requires you to find the direction of the grain, you can do this by spending a lot of time with your fingers.....faster solution for me: I found it easier to go XTG in both directions.

Consider stretching the hollows up onto the flats of your cheeks.. It will give you a more consistent attack angle and may cause the hairs to stand in the direction of the stretch (margninally). I have the same 'tropical storm' pattern on the hollow of my neck, under my jaw bone on the left side. First I stretch it up onto my cheek and in the next pass I stretch down towards my shoulder. In the course of three passes, I get that spot BBS every time.

Thanked: 45I have a collection on one side of my neck of, call it, 15 hairs that just don't shave without special attention paid just to them...no matter what. Some days I take the time to get them with a square point (fortunately they are all in the same area and swirl as you describe), other days I just leave them (nobody could notice but me), and yet on the rarest of days, I just save some time and take a swipe at them with my Fiance's cartridge razor...lol.
