Well it was my first attempt to bevel setting and honing after purchasing a set of stones and having a dead in the water razor from my stupidity. I watched Lynn and Glen on YouTube over and over with their videos on "how to" bevel set and hone! I decided since no meet was in the near future in my area I had to try this. I proceeded slowly and did a bevel set as Lynn showed and used the tape method of the spine as Glen did in a video.

I have to admit the circle method and holding the razor right with spine and blade flat at all times tedious to learn and do but I went slow. I then performed the honing the same way to the "T" while going slow like a turtle on a summers day until I get use to this.

I had a 4-5 day beard and the razor while still not a Lynn or Glen honed cut through the hair so much easier and without all the irritation as in the past. Still needs to be refined just a tad obviously but will come with practice and meets with those who can expand on what I have watched with Lynn and Glen on YT.

Man it felt great to have the razor go through hair much easier!
