I Finally Found The Solution To Great Shaves !
DON"T SHAVE ! LOL ! BTW, I'm not one for 'selfies', but without pictures ...... it didn't happen ...... right ?
The story is ...... I caught a bad cold back in mid December. To the point where I was too miserable to shave for a week. When I recovered, looked in the mirror, I saw that I had a good start to a full beard. Never had one in my long life so figured what the heck.
So I raised a beard, shaving up the neck, and down the cheeks. Kind of cool. People liked it, said I looked 'distinguished.' I let it go for a few months, and last night I converted it to a Lee Marvin, as in the film 'Paint Your Wagon', type. More correctly an Ambrose Burnside (American civil war general).
That ain't really me, makes me look mean and old, neither of which I am obviously, so I went to my wild west handlebar. Made me look like a Paul Muni in 'The Last Angry Man', which ain't bad, but I was tired of feeling all of that weight on my upper lip .......... so the beard was Gone With The Wind, and I'm doing my Clark Gable impersonation ......... Frankly my dear ........ I don't give a damn ....... but it is good to be shaving again. I missed my straights.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 603So, back to "Sailor Jimmy"?
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Nice to see a face attached to a name.
I had a full beard for 40 some years (except for six months of chemo where I was doing a poor imitation of a newborn hirsuteless baby). Regrew it and that lasted till 2 years ago. I reduced it to my current Van Dyke. I laugh at myself enough when I look at my face in the mirror in the morning. Totally beardless and I'd die of uncontrolled hysterics if I was totally bare face."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

Thanked: 67Wow, Jimmy! It's interesting to see how different each version made you look. It's also great to put a face to the name - you being someone I've bought razors from.
