I am pretty much like this. There are, of course the "standard" grips, but my attitude has always been one of, "whatever you need to do to get the job done". If it works, it's right.

I was trying to think how to explain how I shave ATG, and you provided an excellent description. Light pressure, flat angle...almost against your face.

I essentially hold the razor doing this stroke on my left side holding it the same as I do to cut my right side, and of course the opposite for the right side. That seems the best for me.
