    Bought a coticule and followed the instructions given me by the vendor. Worked like a charm!!! Dunno what happened to make it go bad, unless one of the boys,14 and 17, decided to try stropping when I wasn't looking. Thanks for all the replies and suggestions.

    Why would teenage boys have any desire to touch the ridiculously sharp object that they're not supposed to touch. I think there's got to be another explanation.

    Glad it worked for you! Mystery is still not solved...but at least the results are back. I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago, and like you brought the razor back but did not know the problem.
