Yeah me too Ernie. Thanks. Back in the gym. Able to eat Italian foods and bananas. Drink milk. Lol. Able to go away for a few days not worrying about treatments.

Simple things I didnt appreciate enough before.

Glad to hear healing side of your illness Mikey.

Which Bob Marley were you listening to? Let me guess...given your new found appreciation for the simple things in life, 3 Little Birds?

His greatest hits album and 3 Little Birds is on it. I either listen to Bob or the Dead when I start doing my thing. The girls of the house know just to leave me alone for a while lol. The wife kept popping in the powder room yesterday checking on me I think. Was kinda funny.

Sorry to hear that, glad you're on the mend! Best of luck to you in the future, and happy shaving!

If you caught the razor before it went too far even a CrO strop might be enough otherwise start with higher grits and work down if you need to.

My brother had a Kidney transplant years ago. If you want the transplant to last you have to watch what you eat and drink and unless you got the transplant from a close relative you're probably on anti rejection drugs and you have to watch your sugar levels because those drugs can cause you to develop diabetes.

Yep was my beautiful daughter who saved me. I am on those meds. Every recipient is. Even 100 DNA matches like brother /sister. Too valuable of a commodity to risk rejection. That was a concern about shaving again. One med does, or is capable of, giving a person tremors in their hand. Doc says mine look OK. He checks each month along with all the blood tests.

The diet before Transplant is brutal. Google renal diet and water restriction. So I can eat anything now in normal amounts except grapefruit which I hate anyway. No grapefruit or anything containing it. Think my mom made me eat some once in the. 80s so no great loss. Lol

Yeah being in the gym is awesome again. Top things have been working out and eating things like a.banana and having tomato sauce on pasta. The little things.... Oh and really shaving again lol

And back to shaving...lol. I was able to get the 12/000 stone so I will start with that. The GriffonXx should be fine. The Wade/butcher...not sure. Was pretty crappy last night on 2 passes. Had to strop up the Griffon and finish
