Thread: First Str8 shave

I feel like a Krylon commercial. No drips, No runs, No errors. On the other hand, I only shaved about halfway and finished up with my slant. I was shocked the razor doesn't have tremor control. It will definitely take some time, but my first venture ended up with no stypic intervention. I did find that it cut well on both cheeks but seemed to pull a bit over my lip and on my chin. Don't know if this is a stropping resolution or technique. I figure next time I will go from a shaved areas to one that is not and see if that helps. This will be a weekend endaevor for a bit.

Congratulations - sounds like you are doing things right so far at least. It takes time, but so long as you have the patience and can stick with it, you will get there.

Oh and about no tremor control. Rest assured it will be no time before you bring that blade to your face full of confidence, but at the same time remember to retain respect for the sharpest thing you will ever hold.
