    Default Little shaver

My 7 year old daughter is the ultimate judge in our house for how well I have shaved and how good the aftershave smells. Well this AM as I was tying my tie she comes up to me and says "My legs are hairy can you shave them?" I contained my laughter and immediately sent her to talk to her mother... Let her explain that one....

Don't feel to strange. My 7 year old is the same way. I had to get her a toy Barber set (that she loves) for her birthday. Then one day she was playing with the plastic st8 trying to shave her boy cousin. You guys better watch your sons when she gets older.

I have a 5 year old, a 3 year old, and a 2 year old and they all want to feel my face after I shave.
Sandra, my 2 year old daughter, won't let me kiss her good night if I have gone more than 2 days without a shave!

my three (almost four) year old will grade my shave, and say whether I have a smoth or scratchy face, and just loves to watch me shave (which initially resulted in a couple of nice cut, from which I have finally healed). This morning i was shaving with a nice lavender scent and she said that it was her favorite, (rather than the bay rum). So I guess I now have to shave with lavender sented products to please my women. Since I have my wife, two daughters, and two female cats I have very little say as to what happens in my household (but I wouldn't have it any other way).

I don't let anyone watch me. It distracts me. They have seen me shave, but not too many times.

Now, this is a bit out there - but for the psych-inclined fathers of daughters, I'd like to ask:
Given how daughters fixate on fathers (e.g. my 3yo is seriously mad at her mother for taking her *prince* i.e. yours truly), aren't you conderned that letting daughters watch you shave can help build a somewhat dangerous fetish?

    Just some food for thought

    Cheers

Methinks someone has overthought the issue.

...or she could be blessed to have a father while growing up, who's a good (right?) role model, and is forming the imprint for what she will seek in her future mate, once she has "detached" from her parents.

Whom, in turn, she will drag onto SRP in about 20 years because he isn't shaving well.
