Do you change hands?
I read that it would be beneficial to change hands when shaving each side of your face with a straight.
How many of you have learned using the off hand and what are your thoughts..."When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound,
rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal."

Thanked: 4I started using only my right hand for my entire face, but I quickly found that it is much easier to use the left hand for the left side of the face.

Right hand on right side, left hand on left side, with the exception of XTG on left side of neck is right hand.

So far I am in the minority. I do not switch. Never got comfortable using my right hand. Lefties are special I guess. I have found what works for me. Usually do 2 or three pass shaves. This like many things in this hobby is another example of how there is a million ways to arrive at a smooth face.

Thanked: 1324534+ years of shaving with a SR and NOPE
I barely trust my left hand to hold down the meat on the plate to cut it, let alone with my Hollywood face
