Good morning...

Well I ama couple of weeks in, and want to confirm the tips and techniques shared by all really help.

I can only straight razor on the weekends for now. Not enough time before work.
(I use the DE during the week for now)
Stropping is coming together, not dramatic sweeps like in the movies for sure.
I start with Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort Pre-Shave Oil, (recommended to me at Imperial Shave) then to soap.
The neck area around the ears and chin are still a little intimidating but with practice are getting there.
I am a lefty, but am training to use both hands during the shave.

One thing I am finding is to make sure I do not move my face while using the razor. Make sure the skin is tought first, hold a second then shave. I nick myself while trying to adjust during mid-stroke.
(I hope this explinantion makes sense)
