Thanked: 1Now I remember why I started all this
This past week I've made some adjustments to my techniques and it has made a world of difference.
I've discovered that if I stretch my skin less in some areas and use a scything stroke is some areas I produce remarkable differences in the quality and comfort of my shaves.
I've been able to shave daily (which is something I've never been able to do) with great closeness and very little to no irritation. The shaves are more enjoyable and the results make me say "yea, now this is why I started using a straight razor in the first place!".
Small, subtle changes make huge differences sometime.

Men who don't use a straight don't know what
they're missing. I'm definately glad that I made
the switch.

I agree with a straight i have way more control than with a DE! the ability to make minor adjustments to angle and motion has given me the best shave ever

Before I dreaded to shave, I'd go weeks with out touching the M3 w/goo in a can.
Now I look forward to it, if not every day at the most everyother day, depending on my condition at the time

Thanked: 0Yeah same here. Shaving was something that I did when my neck got too itchy from all the hair to cope. It was a chore, and something that made the day off to a ropey start because I had to get up 20 minutes earlier.
Now its a wonderful ritual, that starts or ends my day on a high. In fact, I think I will go shave now

I concur with everything that has been stated. Just wish I could shave multiple times a day...
