Thanked: 4Gray Hairs!
Yup, I got em. Now that I getting older I see more all the time. Just last year I started seeing them on my arms...they're everywhere. But what I wanted to inquire about is those ones on my chin. I still have a mixture of dark and gray, but when I shave, those pesky grays want to stay attached very stubbornly. Dark whiskers gone...first pass;grays need WTG ATG and XTG, then sometimes even some extra attention. Anyone else notice this. I know beard prep can be part of the issue. I usually wash with hot h2o and soap then some grapeseed oil before lathering up. Sometimes I get out a second razor just for the chin. Just wondering.

Thanked: 250Welcome to the gray haired crowd. All I can say is that it's going to get worse for you. Gray whiskers are really tough. I don't switch razors mid shave. Some of my razors work better on the grays. My Boker cuts gray chin whiskers about the best, my Gillette "dial a shave" double edge travel razor is the worst.

Same with me. The white ones are more resilient, nasty insurgents. I don´t know why. Maybe they just shine brighter. They are everywhere.

Grays have sprung up within the past couple of years both on my head and in my facial hair. I blame my wife
I haven't changed anything in regards to shaving/trimming, instead I wear them proudly and feel blessed that I still have hair to turn gray and that I have lived long enough to have it happen!

Thanked: 4I used to tell my kids they gave me the gray hair. For some reason my daughter was always offended by this. They have all been out of the house for years, but the gray is rapidly spreading lately.
I find my Bokers and Griffons the best gray choppers I got. (Maybe I have just learned to hone them best).
Happy Shaves

When I really started noticing the grey was when I go to the barber for a haircut. You see all those clumps of hair on the apron he has on top of you and they began more brown than grey. Time passes and more grey than brown. Then more grey, and more grey, less and less brown ........... finally all grey. Still green side up thank the Lord .
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I started going grey at 18 yrs old.... no sympathy from me I honestly don't remember NOT dealing with grey hairs and I haven't quite hit 40 yet.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
