When it comes time for a hair cut, just do what I do. Grab the ponytail and bring it around to the front and cut off six inches or so. Job done.

Please post your technique. I would love to get 4 years without honing. I thought my Mastro Livi was maintenance free. You just can't trust a guy who rides a Harley and smokes cigars.

You have to take into account1)I shave 2-3 times a week2)My beard is far from course.Beyond that my technique is nothing special 5 stokes on a paddle pasted with .5 diamond spray then 5 strokes with CroOx .When that stops working 15 laps on the 8k Norton and 5 laps on CroOx to smooth it out.
