Thread: Kudos to SRP

I've been using a straight for about a month. It was with great trepidation I put a blade to my face. However, with the great advice from B&B when I started using a Merkur Slant DE, the switch to a straight wasn't so tough. The experience with the DE teaches one to "ease up or bleed" it is also a good precursor to learning the str8. I actually had more nicks learning to use the DE than the str8. I think it is because of the respect you can earn when sharp steel meets soft flesh. The advice from SRP and its members have been invaluable in making this str8 adventure reasonably bloodless. Not to mention the gentlemen at SRP don't mind trading and selling better razors than you generally see on Ebay. For the time and willingness to share experience and offer direction...Kudos to you all.
