    I'm still very new to this and playing with angles too. I'm finding that I almost have to have the spine against my skin going ATG b

    If you watch Lynn Abrams shaving video, his angle is very flat. It's when the angle is to severe bad things happen.

    Yep. Keep that spine close to the skin, and use light to no pressure. If the razor is properly sharp, you don't need it, anyway. If you have to use pressure, the razor needs a refresh or a hone.
