Right it is - and I personally prefer to keep the AA static as is in its usual non-swallowing state and only move the blade lightly on top of it, rather than to risk gulping or something and thus sinking the blade there It is just easier for me and seems safer, and I don't need to practice for it.

Since you have said that you feel comfortable doing this - I understand that it works for you. More power to you!

The point of my original post was to note that this might be more dangerous than other approaches, so people who try it think about it before simply jumping into it.
