Just had my best shave so far
Very proud of myself right now...just had my best shave with my straight so far.
Been shaving with a straight occasionally for the past month or two but really started shaving M-F everyday with the straight for the past 2 weeks or so.
I came home tonight from playing hockey and after a shower decided to take the Ralf Aust 6/8 for a spin. I used my Proraso Pre Shave, Taylor of old bond street Lavender cream and finished with my Art of Shaving post shave. Easily the best shave I have had so far. I was able to get three great passes along with some touch ups with no nicks/cuts and a almost BBS shave all over.
Hears to hopefully being able to replicate it on the next shave as well!

The first few amazing shaves followed by a ton of amazement and facerbating have been quite appreciated. Slowly over time the facerbating subsides a little, but the appreciation of a great shave never gets old.

Well done. I'm in a similar situation and today I had my best SR shave ever too. It's a great feeling when everything clicks.
