The majority of the time I'm shaving at 5:30 in the morning with Mrs. Ripper sleeping just outside the shave den, preventing me from indulging in musical accompaniment to the singing of my blade. When I am able to indulge in some music it all depends upon my mood.
Classical: Bach and almost any arrangements for brass ensemble.
Rock Driven Blues: Gov't Mule, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers
Jazz: Louis Armstrong or Duke Ellington
Rock: Rush, Metallica, Stone Temple Pilots and whatever else that seems to pop up on the playlist, which has included Jethro Tull as of late.Last edited by GreenRipper; 03-07-2017 at 03:11 AM.

Thanked: 15Mumford and Sons, The Dubliners, The Pogues, Johnny Cash. I like quiet and slow because if I'm listening to music it's for the "zen of the shave."
Otherwise I'm just getting it over with during the week and I strop, lather, shave, and walk out of the bathroom in about 4 minutes (I know, because I have timed myself to see how long it really takes ).

Seems lately it's the chorus of "Hey Daddy...wha cha doinin, can I ask you something". I don't even recall the last time I got to relax and enjoy a shave sans the kids. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Black Sabbath or Merle Haggard. Nothing too extreme.
