I've got to avoid using my ear as a stop
It's a small thing. A tiny red mark.
As I begin my daily shave, prior to my first stoke down my right cheek, I have apparently been using my right ear as a stop for the toe of my blade.
I didn't think much of it. The ear is conveniently in just the right position to mark the back limit of the cheek.
There is no discomfort. No dramatic capillary bleeding. Just this tiny wound.
It's a sign. A memo from the shaving aether.
"There is no need to shave that part of your ear."
