Something else occurs to me. Do you dry inside the scales and do you close the blade when you set it down to air dry?

I always dry inside the scales (even though they don't really see any water) just to be sure and I never fully close the blade until it has been sat for a good few hours.

    Just a thought.

The only issue with rust forming quick is with a PRC leviathan that I bought. That sucker spotted while I was rinsing my face to get ready for my second pass. I cleaned the blade and now there is a bit of patina. Sucks but I also learned a lesson.

Yea I usually dry my scales out with thin rag If they get wet (usually they don't) and I will let the razor sit out and dry. Although everything has been taken care of now. I am just guessing I didn't notice a small drop
