Triple antibiotic is helpful I think.

Bonjour mon ami! Ca va bien ici. Et toi?

I have had those same marks from a Shavette, but never from a straight razor. I agee with you that a Shavette is much more unforgiving than a straight razor. Those look like linear razor burn lines, or at least that is what I always thought they were. I've had them so bad (from a Shavette) on about the same place on my face as you, that they looked like red worms stuck on my face. They heal well. I know they look like cut scars now, but that will fade. Normal astringent or aftershave with some aftershave balm and that's usually all you need. I have had good luck simply treating them as a razor burn.

Alors, ne vous inquietez pas. J'ai vecu aParis depuis deux ans et le manque beaucoup.

    A bientot. Et Aloha!

    Aloha!

OK, that is good. You may also want to treat the marks with hamamelis (witch hazel). I also find that aftershave with alcohol or rubbing alcohol calms and sooths the burns. As I said, treat them as razor burns and you will be fine.
I was alarmed the first time I saw them on my face, but as I say, they do go away and leave no scars. THey are burns not cuts, even though they look like a healing cut.

    Bonne chance!

Of course I was teasing. I'm glad to see a wide range of folks here, esp those younger and cooler than me. Though everyone looks cool with a SR in there hand.

A question from a new guy: I found 2 lines/cuts on my face tonight that I didn't know happened. Don't remember them and didn't see them bleed. Found them later. Is that how it goes with SRs?

Possibly too steep of an angle when placing the blade to your skin. Shave the lather, light touch. This is the reason for multiple passes.
Nothing is fool proof, to a sufficiently talented fool...

    Mr. Houston
don't push the blade, let the blade do the work and watch the angle.
