Thread: I finally did it right!

I've been fiddling with straight razors for a couple of years. I've developed decent technique, but I've only ever used them once or twice a week when I have extra time for shaving. Even then, I frequently do a WTG pass, and maybe a XTG pass, but then use a DE razor to clean everything up. However, this morning I decided to try a full shave with my Feather AC and ended up with the closest shave I've ever had. I'm planning to use the Feather AC and my other 2 straights more frequently now that I know an excellent shave really is possible.

Except for my military years, I was never an everyday shaver. However, early in my straight shaving days, I shaved at least every other day. This was done just so my skills would increase as quick as possible. Now, I'm back to my "shave when ever I feel like it, or when I have to go to a funeral" schedule.
