I rotate depending on my mood. Sometimes I'll go three day stretches with the same blade and there are some blades that I don't touch for a month at a time. Same goes for shave soap and scents. I tried having a different blade for every day of the week but I like the freedom to start the day off by selecting whatever I feel like that day. Sort of sets the tone for the day

I rotate through 8 razors with a different one each day. I have 7 soaps on the go at the moment and 4 brushes which I also rotate. That means that I get to try a large number of combinations of razor, brush and soap before I start to get repeats.

I am not sure if I have explained that very well but it makes sense to me

When you are new, you probably have one or two razors. Before adding additional razors to your collection, be sure you can use your first razors effectively. Develop your lathering, shaving and stropping techniques. Once you have done that, you can start adding to your collection.

As you add to your collection, be sure to try a variety of razors to see what works best for you.

Some people like narrow blades (5/8" or narrower). Some like 6/8" blades. Some like larger blades (7/8" or larger).

Some like round point, others like Spanish, French, square, spike, etc.

Some like to explore modern razors, including customs. Others like vintage, or even antique razors.

Some like hollow grinds, some like near wedges.

Do not be afraid to try new razors, if your budget permits. If you obtain a razor that you do not enjoy, offer it for sale. Somewhere, someone exists would would enjoy having it.

My collection includes about 25 razors. Some here have many more. I have a variety of manufacturers, ages, grinds, widths, lengths, scales, etc. I have about a three week+ rotation. The only time I use a razor several times in a row is when the edge starts to deteriorate. I will refresh the edge as needed and shave with it until it meets my standards for shave readiness. Then I resume my normal rotation.

14 razors 2 get used, with a third once in a while and to be honest 1 gets used 75% of the time, that and 1 soap, 2 brushes most of the time. Tc

I have 60+ razors. But i have a handful that i dont use so i guess i rotate thru around 40 or so. Sometimes i might go a few days in a row with one razor but most the time i just grab what i havnt used in a while.

I rotate through about 40 razors, but I have about a dozen that I use a little more frequently than the others. I also enjoy using an SE or a DE from time to time. In general, I enjoy using a variety of products, whether it is soaps, brushes, razors, aftershaves, or colognes.

I have 30 shave ready razors which I rotate as the mood dictates. If I get stuck in a rut I swear I hear from the ones neglected with a "choose me" mantra rising to a fevered pitch. If I don't keep them happy they tend to bite!!!!

My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts, why do you need more than two?

She has a point, but variety is the spice of life so her point is moot

I am down to one for everyday use. It sits on the shelf ready to go. Nothing special about it and although I would be disappointed I wouldn't be mad if I dropped or dinged it, it is a tool for everyday use.

I freely substitute others as my mood or experiments change but it is always there ready to go.
