looking for inputs on spread sheet
I want to be able to keep track of my razors and their usage. Last month Gasman indicated he used a spread sheet to track his so I decided to follow him. This is version one of my spread sheet. What suggestions do you have that would improve the usability of the spread sheet. Thanks for looking.

Makes me wish that i had started one about ten years back! It can help a lot with taxes when selling time comes around or for those that follow you.
Great idea and my best wishes for your follow through.

On mine i have a couple more things. Going by memory here... somewhere in the program is a way to put a link to where a picture of the razor is. I cant tell you at this time as im at work. I also have a place for notes. Chick on it and it opens up a bubble with all the notes you made like when bought, what i did the restore, if its pitted or wonky, etc... the angle of the bevel is another.
Most of tbis stuff is not important. I just like to have the info. It's just Sharpening, right?

Gasman said "link to where a picture of the razor is". Trying to make sure I know about the picture. So you click on the link and a picture of the razor shows up, do you have to manually close the picture. Is the picture full screen or smaller?

The picture opens in another window and full size. Im at home now so...
Under insert tab. Hyperlink. Find your pic in your files on your computer and go from there. Then you can change the "text to display"for the name of the hyperlink.
All of mine are marked as pic. Under image and in blue.
Sorry, i had a lot of help building this so i dont know much.
Wow, that a wierd shot. Dont know what happened. It's just Sharpening, right?

You can insert a comment into any cell. right click and select 'Insert Comment' Type the information in and size the comment box so that all text is visible. A cell with a comment will have a small red triangle in the corner and hovering over the cell with the mouse will open the comment for reading. Comments can also be edited by a right click, 'Edit Comment'.
There are several ways to insert a hyperlink into a cell, I can detail that for you tomorrow. The hyper link can point to a file or folder on your pc or to a web page such as Imgur if that is where you prefer to keep your photo's.

Spread sheet Ver 2
Thanks for the inputs. I am learning a lot from this little project of mine. Here is the 2nd version.
The picture of the razor will appear full screen until you close it. The note area can be expanded as needed and appears and disappears when you move the cursor.
