Thanked: 96At 71 I can attest that grey grow faster and are more brittle then regular hair. Who said getting old was for the faint of heart?

Nice sounds like we are in good company.
This white whiskered guy gave the neighbors Dogs gifts...
The family and neighbors all have all the "stuff" they need so the family plan was consumables.
Others put movie tickets, good olive oil, herbs and spices on their list...
while I put shaving soap on my list. My dog is consuming her firehose chew/fetch toy.
Now I need to find a firehose strop... ;-) to consume.
OK I do not need another strop but I do have a birthday coming up.

Thanked: 0Amazingly it's well established they do, but no single theory has been decided on!
Two leading ones are: 1) The fingertip being touched gives feedback to the 'nail matrix' (real term!) that the nails are too short, and they speed up growth. 2) The fingernails are closer to the heart and get more blood...
