Surgery and Shaving
I'm scheduled to have surgery on my right middle finger soon. I've been practicing stropping, making and applying lather, washing up and combing my hair afterwards with my left. it's almost comical.
Shaving lefty has never been a problem but this other stuff is a challenge.Freddie

I've always been impressed by others' ability to do things like this ambidextrously! I don't even want to think what I'd do to a strop left-handed.
Best of luck both with the surgery and with the practice.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I'm somewhat ambidextrous, but I know what you mean. I can shave and strop left handed, but I can't make lather left handed without slinging lather every where.
Just keep on laughing your way through the practice.
And good luck with your finger surgery. Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead - Charles Bukowski

Thanked: 563Sounds like you need to start training a shaving/stropping/lathering buddy.

First of all, good luck with the surgery Freddie.
When your right middle finger is bandaged and while it's swollen a bit, I'm thinking that this might be a good time to brush up on your creative hand signals.
