    We've had many discussions about Kamisori being designed for use by barbers only. You can research that here if you want. No conclusions were ever arrived at in these parts.

    My argument has always been twofold. First many folks lived in rural areas where barbers were a long way off and second it costs money and that was in short supply for many back in the day. Going to a barber was a luxury experience. The well heeled could partake of it every day or have their butler do it for them.
