Default Slowing down during Coronavirus lockdown

My usual daily two-pass straight razor shave takes 6-7 minutes. Living in lockdown I find I’m getting up at the usual time but, with no commute, can really slow down...I’m now spending more like 10-12 minutes on the morning shave and loving it even more. When this is all over who knows how much I’ll have slowed down...either way there is lots to be said for going slow 🙂

Being retired for 10 years, I always take my time and my usual 4 pass shave from getting the gear out to clean up and putting it away is a leisurely 1/2 hour. I don't see stretching that out even in the current pandemic. Always been doing it slowly to stretch out the enjoyment of it.

Still going into work (I have a piece of paper explaining why...) but my commute has been cut in half so I find myself being a little more fussy with the razor. It's all for naught though because the first thing I do at work is- put on a mask.

    Can't show off. Can't faceturbate.

    Grim days indeed.

Not for naught because I bet the mask fits better!
