I have a full beard and am using the str8 for the cheeks and neck. The cheek requires that I use the blade cross handed, i.e., left hand for right cheek near the sideburn. I then use the same hand for the forward part of the cheek, ie., left hand for left cheek, for the portion of the cheek near the mustach.

The neck is pretty straight forward but I'm having a bit of difficulty with the xtg since that requires a right to left stroke for me. I haven't found a way to fit the blade in for that direction.
