First shave
My first shave is in the books. I used the new factory edge on a Dovo Bismarck. I have a full beard so it was only cheek and neck lines. The shave was OK lines are sharper than I could get then with my DE did 2 passes on my cheeks and only one on the neck because I could feel the razor burn/rash starting. Over all I like it. I'm Going to send the razor to be honed then see what it feels like.
Overall I liked the shave.

Smart move sending it out for a pro to hone as factory so called 'shave ready' edges are not really shave ready. May I suggest sending it to Glen (gssixgun) at Gem Star Customs.

Dovo factory edge shave? Ouch. Well, if that didnt bother you, no matter who you send your razor to, if he is known on any of the razor forums, you will be delighted with the edge when it comes back to you. The Dovo Bismarck is a fine choice, though. My favorite current stock production razor.
You got a strop, right?
When you get your razor back it will most likely be considerably sharper. It will cut whiskers better but it will also cut skin if you are not careful. Review your straight shaving checklist and especially be mindful of shave angle, skin stretching, and pressure. I suggest starting with an angle so low that the spine is nearly dragging on the face, and only if it doesnt seem to be shaving well, lean it out a bit more. If the gap between the razor's spine and your face is more than 1-1/2x the spine thickness, you aren't shaving. You are scraping. Don't scrape. It even sounds bad to say it. As a general rule of thumb a sharper edge needs a smaller shave angle and a duller one needs a larger one, within the normal range.

You won't need to strop it the first time, after it comes back. It'll already be stroped and ready to shave with.
After your first shave, then you'll need to strop it again.
Yeah....it'll be much sharper.! Will need lite pressure for sure. As we say here....shave the lather, not the face.
