I hate when people mess with it and think you won't notice. I just want to scream "it's not a knife!!!".

    Default 4/8 razors

I prefer the nimble 4/8" & 9/16" razors to any other width, especially when shaving in camp, with tiny mirrors. I find the narrow razors light and responsive. One of my faves is a 9/16 Hoffritz that shaves to die for. Grant

My travel/camp blade at the moment is a DD styledge in a 3/8. While it's not my favorite size at home, 6/8's rule there , It's light, compact, and reasonably sturdy. It shaves like a sports car, you feel everything through it.

I like the 3/8s for the upper lip, the coup d'maitre (sp) is a breeze and I'm not as concerned about harming the edge since the small blade maneuvers easy.
I don't actually switch to it after a larger blade though, it's just the part of a shave I appreciate with a 3/8s or shavette.
