Thanked: 0Wostenholm Pipe razor
Today, after shaving with a straight razor for about four months, I finally got a really good shave on all areas of my face. I used the Wosty Pipe razor, which is certainly over a hundred years old. Does anybody else use one?

Here's an interesting Pipe.
It's a contract razor but has the Wosty stamp on the reverse/non show side

Thanked: 4Yes I have one that belonged to my great-grandfather and one I bought and honed. Shave with both of them . Both shave very well. Glad you are getting along well with the straights they are rewarding and a lot of fun. Enjoy.

For your pleasure.
Unlike the Pipe Razor, there was the IXL brand. Way more styles and grinds were done, than in these next few pics.
A few of my Pipes
A recent restore.
And a very interestingly ground IXL
