My dad got me 3 shaves for my birthday :)
Well I havent shaved with a straight razor in almost 6 weeks because I cant move too much since Im recovering from surgery. My wife has been shaving me with a DE (no matter how much I beg she wont try a straight razor, she is to scared she will scar me for life) and its just not the same thing.
My barbershop also shaves me, and they will shave me with my own razor if I want, or they will use the a dovo disposable. This is what the shave includes:
- Facial wash
- pre-shave oil
- hot towel
- light facial massage
- after-shave treatment
- cleansing mask
- rehydration.
It takes about 45 minutes and is very relaxing...now if I can just find someone to take me there since I cant drive! Where is my wife when I need her lol.

Damn, I'm moving to wherever you're at. That sounds more like a facial spa than a barber shop!

Thanked: 1587So are you going to get the barber to use your razors Josh? He/she might need to bulk up a bit first
That sounds really good. Hope the recovery is going well.

Good to see you are feeling better JL. It is nice that you can atleast have someone that will help you shave and give you one. Your wife is a good women.
