    I remember the first time I thought about using a cutting angle. That's what you're talking about is called. Using the point leading cutting angle (or heel if yo like) will actually require less forward force to cut your whiskers and result in a closer, safer shave. Soldier on with care and attention to see for yourself.

    I did it last night and oh was I nervous. My razor's edge is very keen and I just had images of rushing to A+E/ER for a patch-up. lol

    Shave was a lot more economical all round.

    I led with the heel (nearer the tang?) rather than the toe/point as I found ergonomically, this was a more viable option for me.
