Thread: 5 days of longing

I just shaved a five day beard off. What a feeling. I love to leave it for a while to shave. It seems so satisfying. Not so much this time though as I couldn't shave due to having salmonella for 7 days now. Well I hope it is salmonella. The doctors here said if it wasn't something like salmonella it could be stomach ulcers or something like that. Not nice.
Oh well I feel on the mend now. and it was really all about the shave I could have at the end.....no really it was. hehe

I feel ya. Although it's nice to be clean shaven on a daily basis it's quite a satisfying feeling to wipe off several days of stubble with a really sharp str8. BTW, why couldn't you shave while dealing with salmonella? Is it worse than troutella or large mouth bassella?

I think its midway between the two, something like mackerella. Either way unfortunately shaves were out of the question. I still only feel like I can manage the occasional shave! I never believed it would be so bad. I went to the lab for my results and its a really rare strong breed, something like 30 cases a year in the UK so I feel special anyhow!
