    Default Red spots on neck

Even when I get a good close shave, I'm still getting some red spots on my neck and some razor burn under my chin. It's aggravating. I don't know if I'm making too many passes (2 with lather clean up with King of Shaves oil), or to much pressure. The whiskers on my neck seem to grow every which way. I have noticed that when I go against the grain is the worst. Will this get better with experience? Or must I settle for a less than BBS shave in order to be comfortable?

I've been getting neck bumps too actually - I kind of assumed it will go away as my technique gets better

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too, it's my technique. And I'm hoping that will clear up some of the irritation under my chin, too. I have felt the "BBS" enough to want it all over my face, but I think I go a little too far in persuit of it in some places.

I haven't gotten any redmarks in my first few shaves, however I used to get them when I used my electric. I found it was due to the blade pulling hairs out, rather than cutting them. Be sure you're not plucking hairs on your neck by using slightly longer strokes (lengthen them by perhaps 1/8th of an inch, not much). Make sure you stretch the skin properly though! That will help a bit too.

If you have sensitive skin, you need to make sure you keep a light touch and try to limit to two passes. The more passes the more chance for abrasion to the face.

    Have fun,

My neck is the only place I really have trouble. I think it is because the hair grows in different directions. I keep meaning to try Lynn's pull to the side method, but I keep forgetting.
