    Default Any Head shavers, ears

Bald heads that is, how do you shave the little bits by your ears just as you come over to the front of your face. Is there an intuitive way of doing it so you don't slice that little bit of skin at the front of your ear equal to about your eyebrow? It's just an awkward spot.

    Kind regards,

    Gerard

I'm not sure I get which part you mean, but if it's the top of the sideburn area I just use the tip of the razor. If you mean where the top of the ear meets the head, you can either fold the top of the ear down or pull the skin up away from the ear.

The sideburn area, ugly little piece of meat that is. I used the tip with success but was really sketchy doing it. Guess it's just trial and error. I think it's gonna leave a mark in time.

    Gerard,

Are you using two hands (left for left side, right for right side)?

Maybe I'm abnormal, but I've got a little strip, about 5mm wide, of hairless skin that runs parallel to my sideburns next to my ear that allows me to keep away from the ear fairly easily, especially with a little bit of stretching.

The trickiest bit for me is the hair right behind the top of my ear - plenty of cuts there in the past...

No your not abnormal or we both could be? I have the same strip, but just as that strip meets the sideburn, It's gone..right there. From approx., 5mm all the way round to just as your creeping the corner of the ear to the sideburn it back to hair line. If you rub your fingers up and down your sideburns along the front of you ears, I can feel the hair on my finger tips. arggghhhhh.

Oh yeah, I get where you mean. For that bit I pull the skin up and away from the ear and bring the razor edge down carefully (horizontally) to the top of the ear. Then I bring the edge down again, but this time at an angle (heel lower than tip) to get that little bit (assuming left hand for left side, right hand for right side). Then I just go horizontally again using the last inch or so of the tip to go down beside the ear on the sideburn area.
