Thanks, guys.
Yeah, the camera that was used for that video is actually for still photos, so the audio is utter crap. Plus, I've been known to mumble a bit when concentrating on something else, so that didn't help. The first part of the video is pretty easy to hear if you turn up the sound a bit, though.

Right on! I've been wondering forever how do you shave them goats
At least we sorted out the chimpanzee
Nice video BW, I'd have gotten a close up of before and after, but, now if I ever make a video and I remember it I'll do it.
There's got a be a rivaling thread of the 'What do you look like?' - 'How do you shave?'

Thanked: 4I find that going over the same spot multiple times in the same direction is a great way to have whisker burn but not necessarily a closer shave.
With the right angle long strokes and a 3 pass shave are a lot less irritating. The problem seems to be spending too much time scraping the skin isn't really productive.
I don't have this mastered yet but I can BBS on my cheeks, jawline with 3 passes and very little in the way of touch ups if I take my time with long non repeating strokes with less irritation.

I was actually very conscious of the blade's movement, having done this for a number of years now. The razor's sharpness wasn't 100% perfect on all areas of the blade, so one pass would mow down most hairs, but leave a few trailing behind. This isn't visible, of course, but heck, even the beard isn't too visible, although it's a quite visible when grown out longer. The hair is just light, so it's not very "shadowy." I'm conforming to the razor's performance, clipping off a missed hair here and there. If it had been sharpened more recently, you would have seen longer sweeping strokes, absolutely. If you do this and your skin is easily irritated, then yeah, it's a no-no. If you're not irritating your face like I wasn't, there's no problem.
